The challenge
Mensart's competition was running generic Shopify themes. They needed to signal premium positioning visually — through editorial photography presentation, scroll-triggered animations, and a checkout that felt as considered as the rest of the journey.
The brief
Mensart sells premium menswear in Bangladesh — bespoke tailoring, considered fabric sourcing. Their previous site was a Shopify Dawn theme. It worked, but signaled commodity.
They asked us to rebuild from scratch — design-led, animated, with a checkout flow that didn’t feel like every other BD e-commerce site.
What we designed
- Editorial homepage — hero video, scroll-triggered product reveals (GSAP), gradient overlays on hover
- Product pages with magnified imagery, fabric-detail callouts, size guides, and “shop the look” cross-sells
- Cart and checkout in glassmorphism + dark mode option, bKash + COD + cards
- Admin for the in-house team to manage inventory, promotions, and content blocks
Outcome
Average session jumped from 1:48 to 3:52 in the first month after launch. Conversion rate on product pages climbed measurably — though we wait 6 months before claiming SEO results.
